2017 Sanford & Benedict Vineyard Pinot Noir
This historic site sings with impeccable farming and old vines (planted in 1971) resonating in this classic wine bringing terrific depth. Pretty notes of snappy red raspberry, wild cherry and dried flowers mingle alongside more savory notes of tobacco, grilled herbs, and black tea, with a rocky mineral presence. The palate is exquisitely balanced with power, density, lively acidity, structure, and intensity.
Aged for 18 months in 100% French oak, 33% new.
